Two arrested for R17 900 worth of drugs

Two men have been arrested by members of the police who were conducting COVID-19 duties on Thursday, 23 April 2020 for possession of drugs.

Members under the command of Lieutenant Colonel Thabo Mahlangu were busy conducting patrols on the N14 road between Rosedale and Keimoes when they received information about a bakkie that was allegedly transporting drugs. The officials intercepted the vehicle with two occupants and upon searching it, discovered khat to the value of R17 900 in their possession.

The two were detained and will soon appear before court.
