Bottlestore owner arrested for transporting liquor
OLIFANTSHOEK – On 25 April the Olifantshoek police together with Kuruman K9 Unit received information about the manager of a local bottle store who was transporting liquor.
Police followed up on this information, spotted the suspicious bakkie and found beer, whiskey, wine and other liquor stashed in the vehicle. The total amount of liquor is estimated at R30 000. The male suspect was arrested and detained at the Olifantshoek police cells.
The police members were commended for their swift response and the community is thanked for their role they played in the arrest of the suspect.
