South Africa’s Covid-19 statistics, 27 April

On 27 April health minister dr. Zwelini Mkhize announced South Africa’s latest coronavirus figures.
There are now a total of 4 793 Covid-19 cases in South Africa. After yesterday’s announcement, 247 new cases were reported.
According to minister Mkhize, a total of 90 deaths have been confirmed due to Covid-19 in SA and a total of 1 473 people have been cured of this virus.
The minister also says the country’s health teams and hospital groups have been able to do 178 470 tests for Covid-19 to date.
