Moving during lockdown

From now until 7 June 2020 South Africans are allowed to move during lockdown.
If you bought a house before or during the lockdown and the transfer has already been facilitated, you will be allowed to move with your furniture and other goods. The same applies to those who finalised lease agreements during the stipulated periods. Relocation is allowed within and across provincial, metropolitan or district boundaries.
The moving to new residences can only be done once-off and is permitted until 7 June 2020.
Requirements:
Obtain a permit to travel across provincial, metropolitan or district boundaries from the station commander of a police station or a person designated by him or her. You can download this form here:
Indicate the persons who are part of the household who will be required to move.
Such persons must have in their possession the relevant lease agreement indicating the date of expiry of the old lease and the date of commencement of the new lease, or the transfer documents attesting to the change in place of residence or change of ownership of property.
