Dr. Clarence Mini, the chairperson of the Council for Medical Schemes (CMS) died from Covid-19 complications.

It is believed that Mini has been in hospital for the past six weeks and suffered from asthma.

Grace Khoza, general manager of CMS, said Mini were hospitalised after he tested positive for Covid-19.

Lwazi Manzi, spokesperson for health ministry, confirmed Mini had died.
