Correctional services official in KBY tests positive for Covid-19
An official at the correctional facility in Kimberley was tested positive for the corona virus, according to a statement by the Department of Correctional Services.
Correctional Services in the Eastern Cape presently has 98 prisoners who have tested positive for Covid-19.
The Department says various measures were taken to stop the virus from spreading further, including the appointment of a medical advice panel as well as an additional 393 nursing staff.
There are 92 people in its midst who have recovered from the virus.
