Distribution of food parcels in the Northern Cape
The South African government has decided to provide food parcels to families who need it most during the current lockdown.
Approximately 16 000 such food parcels have been distributed in the Frances Baard district. Today, May 13, the following totals of food parcels will be delivered to the following areas:
Ritchie: 200
Holpan: 100
Smithmine: 50
Magareng: 200
Phokwane: 300
Platfontein: 350
Tomorrow, food parcels will be delivered to the following areas:
Magareng: 200
Phokwane: 300
Windsorton: 100
Diamant Park: 200
Lerato Park and the surrounding area: 650
A total of 36 000 food parcels have already been distributed in the Northern Cape, with a further 11 700 which are to follow.
