Police confiscates drugs worth R200 000

KIMBERLEY – Today Lt Col Dimakatso Mooi joined the breakfast show of Radio Teemaneng Stereo and interacted with the community, giving the opportunity to give complains or compliments.
Brig. Mohale Ramatseba, police spokesperson, says the suspects were arrested at approximately 14:00 in Camm Street, Rhodesdene. The suspects were spotted driving a silver grey Toyota Run X in Long Street. The police followed the suspects and searched them at their residence in Camm Street. During the search, the police found the suspects in possession of drugs such as crystal meth, khat, mandrax tablets and undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspects are expected to appear before the Kimberley magistrate’s court on Monday, 18 May, on counts of dealing in drugs.
The Northern Cape police management applauded the members for their vigilance by removing drugs off the streets.
