Three arrested for dealing in dagga
MOTHIBISTAD – Three males were arrested for dealing in dagga worth R371 000 in Mothibistad.
According to brig Mohale Ramatseba, police spokesperson, sgt Mokidiame Tshego and constables Thabang Marumo and Tshego Moseki arrested three suspects between 29 and 34 years old for dealing in dagga.
It is reported that the three officials were busy with a stop and search operation between Legaganeng and Mathanthanyaneng villages when they saw a suspicious looking white Toyota Fortuner with three male occupants.
They searched the vehicle and found 74 kg of dagga with a street value of R371 000.
The dagga was seized and the vehicle also confiscated.
The three (3) suspects will appear before the Mothibistad magistrate’s court soon on charge of dealing in dagga.
The station commander of Mothibistad, colonel Didimalang Moetsi commended the three officials for their commitment and dedication in fighting crime.
