According to a new study, that measured how quickly whale sharks can recover from injuries, whale sharks have a truly remarkable recovery capacity for being the largest fish in the world. The findings revealed that lacerations and abrasions can heal in a matter of weeks and partially removed dorsal fins have shown signs of re-growing.
