Wisconsin wolf hunt threatening to become even more repulsive
Two of the most troubling aspects of this rushed wolf hunt during breeding season was a lack of transparency on the quota and a complete lack of input from the public on the hunt’s ‘emergency rules.’ These so-called ‘emergency rules’ violated Act 169, a state law that governs the annual wolf hunt, in that they allowed both meat for baiting and night-hunting.
