The global movement to legalise cannabis has seen SA investment fund, SilverLeaf, set up a fund to drive the professionalization of this emerging sector.
The global legal cannabis market is estimated to be around $30 billion and expected to reach somewhere between $75 billion and $100 billion by 2030. Locally the market could be worth R27 billion by 2023.
