Warren Buffett surpassing $100 billion is all the more notable considering how much the billionaire from Omaha gives away, he has donated more than $37 billion in Berkshire stock since 2006.
The $100 billion club
The 90 year old Berkshire Hathaway chairman’s wealth jumped to $100.4 billion on Wednesday, making him the sixth member of the $100 billion club. This $100 billion club includes Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk and his friend Bill Gates. The club’s combined wealth grew rapidly, fueled by government stimulus, central-bank policies and the rising equity market.
