Elon Musk dropped his chief executive job title and has now crowned himself as the “Technoking of Tesla”

Elon Musk dropped his chief executive job title and has now crowned himself as the “Technoking of Tesla”. While Mr Musk will still retain his position of chief within the company, chief financial officer, Zack Kirkhorn, has the new title of Master of Coin.

Elon Musk and Bitcoin

This could be a reference to the company’s $1,5bn purchase of Bitcoin this year but neither Mr Musk or Mr Kirkhorn have elaborated on the meaning of these new titles.

Erratic and unlawful

This change in titles comes only days after a Tesla investor sued Mr Musk and the company over a series of “erratic” and “unlawful” tweets. The investors’ lawyers accused Mr Musk of issuing false statements on Twitter concerning Tesla’s finances.
