Eskom has announced that load shedding will continue until this weekend but at a reduced stage.
Stage 1
The announcement said that load shedding will be lowered to stage 1 from Wednesday 05h00 and will continue until 05h00 on Saturday.
Eskom said that: ”The return has not been sufficient to suspend load shedding at this point.”, adding that further generation capacity was lost at the Medupi, Arnot and Komati power stations.
