GEORGIA.- The alleged gunman who killed eight people at massage parlours in Atlanta, Georgia, has been charged with murder while police work on identifying the victims.
Officials can’t confirm if the attack, in which six Asian women were killed, was racially motivated. The suspect faces multiple charges of murder and aggravated assault. Cherokee County Sheriff, Frank Reynolds, said that it was possible the suspect may have been a patron and slaimed to have a “sex addiction”.
The attack comes during a sharp increase of attacks against Asian-Americans.
