Eskom implements stage 2 load shedding
After their announcement that load shedding at stage 1 will be extended until Saturday, Eskom has now escalated outages to stage 2 in an effort to safeguard the grid.

After their announcement that load shedding at stage 1 will be extended until Saturday, Eskom has now escalated outages to stage 2 in an effort to safeguard the grid.
Stage 2
Load shedding will now be at stage 2 from 21h00 on Wednesday night, until 05h00 on Saturday.
This escalation follows after the power utility lost more generating units at four power stations, namely: Medupi, Arnot, Duvha and Kendal.
