A seven-year-old girl was shot dead in Myanmar, becoming the youngest known victim in the crackdown following last month’s military coup.

Raid

Khin Mwho Chit’s family told the BBC she was killed by police as she ran towards her father, during a raid on their home.

Myanmar’s military has been increasing its use of force as protests continue and in total 164 people have been killed in protests.

Save the Children group has said that more than 20 children are among the dozens of people who have been killed.
