Only hours after Iran proudly announced that they were launching their latest centrifuges, a power blackout damaged some of the precious machines at its site in Natanz.

Terrorism

Iran described this as an attack of “terrorism” and blamed Israel, however there is still some mystery over the cause of the blackout.

In Israel, reports have suggested that a cyber-attack may have been responsible but Iran has talked of “infiltrators” amid reports of an explosion that was linked to the power generator.

The only thing the reports seem to agree on, is that an “incident” affected the power distribution network at Natanz which lead to a blackout until emergency power systems turned on.
