After more than a year into the pandemic, you might feel like celebrating when you get your Covid-19 vaccine.

Drink too heavily

But doctors are issuing warnings that you should not drink too heavily before or after getting your vaccine.

While there is no evidence that consuming copious amounts of alcohol can reduce the effects of the coronavirus vaccine, there are studies that suggest that binge drinking can not only affect one’s immune system but also directly suppress it.

This means that if you drink before or after getting the vaccine, your body could be prevented from generating the necessary antibodies.
