According to a media report, two children have died and 16 children and two teachers were wounded when a man entered a kindergarten with a knife in southern China.

Kindergartens in China generally take children from the ages of three to six. Two children died of their injuries, while two others were undergoing surgery and a further 14 were receiving medical treatment.
The police have arrested the suspect and an investigation is underway. But the motive for the attack on Wednesday is not clear.
