Adidas just unveiled a Xhosa sneaker with Pharrell- you can’t buy it in South Africa
The sneakers feature the word “Uluntu” which is Xhosa for “Human race” and “humanity”, but it will not be sold in South Africa.
The latest sneaker collaboration between musician Pharrell Williams and Adidas Originals will launch on Friday, 14 May.

The sneakers feature the word “Uluntu” which is Xhosa for “Human race” and “humanity”, but it will not be sold in South Africa.
Despite the “Uluntu” sneaker focusing on a uniquely South African theme, local fans will not be able to buy a pair.
